We cherish the power of community – when people band together it’s an incredible thing! We’ve just seen it so beautifully displayed in the last few weeks in how our local community and neighbours came together to help each other out when the floods hit, truly inspiring to witness and be a part of.
Earth hour is a grass roots movement which started in Sydney to raise awareness for climate change.
It’s never been more critical to come together to protect our world than at this moment. Earth Hour has gone far beyond the symbolic action of switching off – it has become a catalyst for positive environmental impact, driving major legislative changes by harnessing the power of the people and collective action.
You can do your bit by switching off your lights and posting about it so your community knows you care for Mother Nature.
This year Earth Hour is Saturday 26th of March at 8:30pm.
Will you be getting the candles out this weekend?
Don’t forget to share your Earth Hour experience on social media to spread the message far and wide.
